The Doctorsonline.com website is maintained in an information system that provides access to the aforesaid information on the Internet when addressed by the domain name http://doctorsonline.com (including all levels of the specified domain functioning on the moment of adoption of these Terms by the User, as well as added throughout the period of its operation).

1.2. Website Administration is understood to be Globalmed.LLC, which is responsible for the administration and development of the website.

1.3. User is any person using the Doctorsonline.com website.

1.4. Doctor is a professional with a university degree in medicine registered on the website as a doctor of one of the medical specialties.

1.5. Internet provider is an organization that provides services for accessing and using an Internet resource.

 

2. Status of the Doctorsonline.com terms of service


 

2.1. These Doctorsonline.com Terms of Service (hereinbefore and hereinafter - the Terms) have been developed by the Website Administration and determine the terms of use and development of the Website, as well as the rights and obligations of its Users and Administration. The Terms also cover the relations associated with the rights and interests of the third parties which are not the Users of the Website but whose rights and interests may be affected as the result of the Website Users’ actions.

2.2. These Terms are the legally binding agreement between the User and the Website Administration whereby the Website Administration provides the User with access to the Website and its services. In addition to these Terms, the agreement between the User and the Website Administration includes all special documents that regulate the provision of individual and additional Website services available in the relevant sections of the Website on the Internet.

2.3. The User is obliged to familiarize himself/herself with these Terms before the use of the Website. Use of the Website by the User means full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms by the User in accordance with the Civil Code of the Swiss Confederation.

2.4. The Website Administration may make changes and/or additions to these Terms unilaterally without any special notification. These Terms are open and accessible to the general public. The current version of the Terms is available on the Internet at http://doctorsonline.com/ru/terms or on the corresponding page of any other language section. The Website Administration recommends that the Users check the provisions of these Terms regularly for changes and/or additions. The continuation of the use of the Website by the User after the amendment of these Terms will mean the User’s agreement with and acceptance of such changes and/or additions.

 

3. Status of the Doctorsonline.com website

 

3.1. All rights to the Website and to the use of the web address (domain name) http://doctorsonline.com belong to the Website Administration. The Website Administration provides access to the Website to all persons concerned in accordance with these Terms and effective legislation of the Swiss Confederation.

3.2. These Terms establish conditions in accordance with which the rights to use information and the results of intellectual activity (including, but not limited to doctors’ workplaces, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the doctors, medical and literary articles, research papers, visual works, graphic and design works, photo works, software) within the individual sections of the Website may belong to the Users of the Website and other persons who have independently created and/or posted these items on the Website without direct participation of the Website Administration.

 

4. Administration of the Doctorsonline.com website

 

4.1. In these Terms and other special documents available on the Website, Globalmed.LLC is understood to be the Administration of the Doctorsonline.com website (hereinbefore and hereinafter - the Website Administration or Administration).

4.2. The applications, offers and claims of individuals and legal entities to the Website Administration in connection with these Terms and all issues regarding the Website operation, violation of the rights and interests of any third party in the process of its use as well as inquiries of the persons authorized by the legislation of the Swiss Confederation may be sent by e-mail to: admin@doctorsonline.com.

4.3. No provisions of these Terms grant to the User the right to use the brand name, trademarks, domain names and other distinguishing marks of the Website Administration. The right to use the brand name, trademarks, domain names and other distinguishing marks of the Website Administration may be granted only as agreed upon in writing with the Website Administration.

 

5. Rights of the Doctorsonline.com website users

 

5.1 Any user of Doctorsonline.com automatically agrees with this user agreement and Website terms of service is informed and agrees with all paragraphs of this agreement.

5.2. The user is informed that the data on the profile page of a doctor are added and edited by the doctor and are for information only. The Website Administration bear no responsibility for accuracy of these data and the consequences of their use.

5.3. The user agrees that any contact with a doctor via the website will be related to the medical services and needs.

5.4. IP addresses of those users whose requests are of promotional or commercial nature will be permanently blocked by the Website Administration. Users with statistical IP-addresses breaching this paragraph of the user agreement will be held criminally liable for violation of the terms of the agreement in accordance with the civil and criminal codes of the country of their residence.

5.5. Providers, through the network of which the violation of this paragraph of the user agreement occurs, will be blocked after three warnings in case of the repeated violation of this paragraph of the user agreement. The Website Administration reserves the right to hold the provider, which provides Internet services to the persons repeatedly violating this paragraph of the user agreement, criminally liable.

5.6. The user is informed that the text of the requests to the doctor, as well as all types of messages and requests added by the user to the Website, shall comply with the ethical standards and criteria.

5.7. Answers to the questions sent via the "Online consultation" page directly to the doctor are also sent to the user’s e-mail. The time required to answer the question sent directly to the doctor via the "Online consultation" page may vary from several minutes to several days. The doctor also reserves the right not to respond to a question sent via the "Online consultation" page.

5.8. The Website Administration and the doctor registered on the website, bear no responsibility neither for the correctness of the advice given to the users via the "Online consultation" and "Private consultation" sections nor for its consequences. These pieces of advice are for information only and can not substitute a personal visit to a qualified doctor.

5.9. Time for confirmation or rejection of the request for an appointment can vary from a few minutes to several days. The doctor registered on the website reserves the right not to respond to the requests for an appointment.

5.10. The patient is informed that the doctor has the right to communicate with him/her using a phone number specified in the request to make an appointment.

5.11. The Website Administration can not guarantee confidentiality of the data added to the website and / or sent to the doctor registered on the website. The user reserves the right to forge his/her personal data to prevent the use of confidential information for any other purposes. (See Section "Privacy")

5.12. The user is informed that the user agreement is legally binding.

5.13. All other types of conflicts between the doctors and the users of the website will be resolved in accordance with the civil and criminal codes of the country of doctor’s residence.

 

6. Rights of the Doctorsonline.com website doctors

 

6.1. Doctor is a professional with a university degree in medicine registered on the website as a doctor of one of the medical specialties.

6.2. Any medical specialist whose profession is listed on the website may register as a doctor.

6.3. Any user registered on the website as a doctor automatically agrees with this user agreement.

6.4. There are verified and unverified doctor’s profiles on the website. To verify the status of a doctor, it is required to e-mail a copy of a university degree in medicine and a copy of a certificate of a specialist in a certain field of medicine to validation@doctorsonline.com. For further verification of the doctor’s title (intern, resident, Candidate of Medical Sciences, MD, professor, academician, etc.) it is also required to send a copy of the corresponding certificates. The verified profiles are marked with a yellow checkmark next to the name of the doctor. Upon verification of the doctor’s title, the corresponding title is displayed before the name and surname of the doctor as well.

6.5. Any registered doctor guarantees the accuracy of the posted personal data and shall confirm his/her personal data through their verification within one month (See paragraph 6.4.). Otherwise, the profile of the doctor will be deleted from the website once this period expires.

6.6. The doctor reserves the right to answer questions, to confirm or deny the requests for an appointment sent to him/her via the "Private consultation" and "Book an appointment" sections.

6.7. Inclusion of the articles, scientific papers or the results of medical research in the medical journal, as well as participation in the open «Online consultation» on the home page of the website are carried out by the doctor voluntarily.

6.8. The doctor agrees not to add to the website the content (articles, scientific papers and results of medical research, photos, personal information and any other content) which violates the copyright of any third party or institution. Otherwise, the profile of the doctor will be deleted from the website. In this case, the Website Administration reserves the right to hold the offenders criminally liable in accordance with the Criminal code and the legislation on copyright of the country of residence of such persons.

6.9. Persons registered on the website as the doctors acknowledge that the Website Administration bears no responsibility for the content of messages and requests that such persons receive via the "Private consultation" and "Book an appointment" sections.

6.10. By registering on the website, the doctor acknowledges that all conflicts between the doctor and the Website Administration will be resolved in accordance with the civil and criminal codes of the Swiss Confederation.

 

7. Final provisions

 

7.1. These Terms constitute the agreement between the User and the Website Administration with regard to the use of the website and its services.

7.2. These Terms are governed and construed in accordance with the legislation of the Swiss Confederation. Issues, which are not settled by these Terms, shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Swiss Confederation.

7.3. In the case of any disputes arising in connection with the implementation of these Terms, the User and the Website Administration will make every effort to resolve such disputes by negotiations. Those disputes, which are not resolved by negotiations, shall be resolved in the manner established by the legislation of the Swiss Confederation in force.

7.4. These Terms come into effect for the User upon his/her accession to the Terms and are valid indefinitely.

7.5. These Terms are in Russian and may be provided to the User for familiarization in another language.

7.6. If one or more provisions hereof shall become null and void for any reason, this shall not affect the validity or applicability of the remaining provisions.
